iPhone 5 Maps not too bad - Know Your Cell

While Apple is facing some heat for the Maps?on the iPhone 5, a new survey from ChangeWave suggests this hasn't had an impact on how quickly consumers are buying the latest Apple smartphone.?

The survey found that 19 percent of those responding were "very likely" to buy and iPhone 5 and 13 percent were "somewhat likely." Last year with the iPhone 4S, those figures were 10 percent and 11.5 percent for the same categories.?

"Despite the media attention surrounding both the Apple Maps issues and the Apple Lightning port issue, neither had had an impact on the massive numbers of buyers queuing up to buy the iPhone 5," wrote?ChangeWave's VP of Research, Dr. Paul Carton. "Rather, the survey results both show both issues hardly rank as bumps in the road."

The Apple iPhone 5 sold five million units?in its first weekend, but some analysts were disappointed by that number because they expected even higher sales. It appears as if the demand is as high as ever but Apple just can't get out enough devices to satisfy that demand.?
