I promised to be back on Thursday with something upbeat and possibly inappropriate.? That didn?t happen.? Instead I headed to Panera?s that night with my tribe of Homeschool Bible Study moms.? Rest assured we discussed some highly inappropriate topics that even I cannot repeat.? I love those women.? Laughter really is the best medicine.
Today I had to take all 3 children into a department store to shop for a birthday gift for one of Emme?s girlfriends.? Before hitting those departments that girls gravitate towards, I wanted to check to see if the bras I like to purchase for the teenager and pre-teen were on sale.? The minute my daughters noticed the direction that I was taking, they high-tailed it for the misses department.? Plus size.? Any port in the storm.? They have no desire to aid me in shopping for their own brassieres.? Which is why I am so disappointed not to find Hello Kitty bras.
Jensen, on the other hand, stuck to me like glue.? As we wandered between the narrow passageways between the racks, he could not keep his eyes off the merchandise.? And then finally it happened.? He reached his little still-dimpled 7 year old hand out and squeezed a cup or 5, replete with sound affects, HONK HONK.
I decided that bra shopping should cease immediately and took his hand and drug him quickly to safety, while his free hand HONK HONKed all the way out of the department.

When I relayed the story to the child?s father, he replied, ?That?s my boy.?
Have a fantastic weekend, everyone.? And please think of me at dark thirty on Saturday morning, as I will be huddled under a tent with a gaggle of pre-teens and teenagers as my daughters enjoy their final championship swim meet.?
