Microsoft is to cut prices across its range of Surface RT tablets.
ZoomVerge sources originally claimed each model would be cut by $150 following underwhelming sales and plans to refresh the tablet line with new models.
Staples subsequently confirmed the price cuts in a listing in its weekly promotional ads. The discounts come into effect this Sunday, July 14.

In March, reports claimed Microsoft had made an underwhelming start in its bid to crack into the fast-growing tablet market.
The company was reported to have ordered about three million Surface RTs, but to have sold just over one million since the model launched in October 2012.
The firm recently launched an education program to sell the Surface RT to schools at $199 and has been clearing stock at its Tech-Ed and Worldwide Partner conferences, according to Verge.
New Surface RT and Surface Pro models were reportedly hinted at during Microsoft's Worldwide Partner Conference on Wednesday.
